I love all behind the scene tours, grocery stores in general, and WFM in particular so this deal gets two enthusiastic thumbs up.
WFMs are beautiful, well-curated grocery stores. I know everyone complains it is expensive (ah, “Whole Paycheck”), and it is, but they have fabulous produce, abundant organic products, a great meat/fish counter, and an ever cheerful/helpful workforce.
I also like WFM’s core values including their stand on GMOs, use of a rating system promoting fishing sustainability, and the large selection of bulk food significantly cutting down on packaging. BTW, I definitely do no agree with all owner John Mackey’s politics but in the balance WFM’s core values trump so I shop there.
Look for me by the chocolate and cheese samples…
